  • Patent number: 8441803
Abstract: A retaining facility for clearance-free fixing of a printed circuit board onto a one-dimensional curved surface is provided. In the direction of curvature of the one-dimensional curved surface, a tensile or compressive force acts on the printed circuit board or on at least one first connection device connected to the latter, with the printed circuit board being bent and pressed onto the curved surface. In this way the printed circuit board is held solidly and with little vibration on the surface even when acted on by centrifugal forces.

  • Publication number: 20100217079
Abstract: A capsule for endoscopic examinations and a method for assisting the advancement of the capsule through organs are provided. In addition to a device for advancing the capsule through an organ under investigation, the capsule is also provided with a device for generating movements of the capsule to reduce the edge friction impeding the advancement of the capsule. The device for generating movements of the capsule is activated using electromagnetic radiation irradiated from outside to a receiving system of the capsule. The device generates a movement, which helps overcome inhibiting frictional forces.

  • Patent number: 6904128
Abstract: A device (4) comprises a container (40) for a liquid coolant (41) that is disposed between the axis (1) and the surface (30) facing the axis to co-rotate with the surface. The device is further provided with an atomizer nozzle (42) of the container, facing the surface, from which the coolant is discharged during rotation of the container due to the centrifugal force (F) acting upon the coolant of the container in the form of an atomized jet (43) that strikes the surface. The device cools a surface of an electronic device (3) that runs hot, the electronic device supplying the X-ray source of a computer tomograph with power and rotating about the axis of the gantry (2) of the tomograph.

  • Patent number: 5210780
Abstract: A high-frequency x-ray generator having low high-voltage ripple at the x-ray tube with a small amount stored energy in the high-voltage circuit and low drive frequency has a series of secondary windings each connected to a high-voltage rectifier having a capacitor connected in parallel. These capacitors are connected in series for forming the x-ray tube voltage. Each secondary winding has a primary winding allocated to it. The primary windings in combination with delay capacitors form a delay line in which a traveling wave is generated by a primary voltage source.
