  • Patent number: 6974783
Abstract: A flexible, intermediate, bulk, container includes coated or uncoated woven fabric or plastics film having antistatic properties and is provided with elements which are enabled for corona discharge of static electricity accumulating in the flexible, intermediate, bulk, container, the surface of the woven fabric or plastics film at least partially comprising fibers protruding less than 10 mm from the surface.

  • Patent number: 6331334
Abstract: A flexible container liner, preferably for use in containers capable of dissipating electrostatic charges, with at least one liner wall which includes a single layer or multilayer wall material, preferably of polymers, such as LDPE monofilm, a co-extruded polymer film or the like, the liner wall having a layer which is electrically non-conductive, in order to meet high requirements with respect to the non-chargeability of the container and with regard to very good barrier properties against the passage of gases, is so constructed that either at least one layer of the liner wall has microrecesses extending at least over a portion of its thickness or microprotrusions, which have material of reduced thickness in their front region lying parallel to the layer, are disposed in at least one layer of the liner wall.

  • Patent number: 5562948
Abstract: A method for the production of an electrically conductive wall of a fabric and a film material which is provided with an insulating coating, and particularly for the production of sheets of fabric which are provided with an insulating coating and have electrically conductive tapes. In particular, in order to have provided a method with which an electrically conductive wall material with an electrically insulating coating can be prepared, for which the danger of the occurrence of brush discharges is effectively reduced, the coating is perforated after the wall material is coated.

  • Patent number: 5458419
Abstract: A flexible bulk goods container (1) with a container body (2), which can form a bulk goods accommodating space, is filled and emptied over a connector/outlet arrangement (3, 4), can be lifted by means of carrying loops (5) or the like and is preferably made from a coated basic weave, particularly of polypropylene that is electrically conductive due to integrated conductors. As a basic weave, a ribbon-like fabric is provided, in which, at a distances of not more than 30 mm in the warp or in the filling, a basic weave ribbon (6, 7) is replaced by an electrically conductive ribbon (8) of a plastic film material forming the electrical conductor, with a transverse extent corresponding essentially to that of the basic weave ribbon (6, 7) is substituted and/or assigned to the basic weave ribbons (6,7) in an essentially congruent arrangement.
