  • Patent number: 7405388
Abstract: This invention can be attached to the head of a milling machine and performs the functions of a center scope and an edge finder. Unlike a center scope or an edge finder it does not have to be removed from the machine before the machine is used. The invention performs this function by processing images from two cameras that are shot from off axis vantage points. The two images are processed to create a synthetic image that appears to be shot from the on axis vantage point. The processor adds a cross hair to the image to indicate that point on the workpiece that is exactly at the center axis of the quill. This allows the machine operator to exactly position the spindle precisely over a target point on the workpiece in a convent and safe manner.

  • Patent number: 6196805
Abstract: A fluid ladder or a fluid lifter and a method for lifting a liquid or a flowable or fluid-like material such as grains, sand, soil, and the like from one level to a higher level preferably through oscillation. The fluid ladder is capable of lifting fluids without the use of conventionally known pump devices and without the need for energy sources such as electrical energy, combustion energy and the like. The apparatus may be operable using energy sources such as that provided by muscles e.g., the muscle use of a human being or animal or the energy provided by oscillatory wave motion of a body of fluid. The fluid ladder lifts fluid through a series of, or a plurality of, reservoirs.

  • Patent number: 5193296
Abstract: A novel means of attaching a plow frame to a vehicle frame is described. The attachment means includes ears on both the plow frame and the vehicle frame. The ears are joined together by pins that are inserted through holes in the ears. The ears are shaped in such a way that they can be forced into alignment using the plow's lifting device. when the ears are held in alignment this way the coupling pins can be easily inserted. This greatly eases the coupling of the plow to the vehicle.
