  • Patent number: 10734921
Abstract: A system comprises a power generator for generating electrical power and a switched capacitor converter for down-converting the output voltage of the power generator. The switched capacitor converter comprises a bank of capacitors and a switch arrangement. A controller is used for controlling the switches, based on a feedback signal from the power generator. This provides automatic control of the switched capacitor converter, thereby simplifying the overall control circuitry and improving efficiency.

  • Patent number: 10249795
Abstract: The invention provides an LED chip having an integrated electrostatic switch for electromechanical control of the LED. A suspended beam switch floats above a conductive control electrode, and by a charging of the electrode may be attracted downward to make connection between an LED structure and an external electrode. Components are mounted on a common substrate so that a fully integrated LED with MEMS switch is formed. Methods for producing the LED chip are further provided, in which production of the switching mechanism is fully integrated with the production of the LED structure.

  • Patent number: 10153321
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a moisture resistant radiation detector core assembly which was constructed by first assembling the photon-electron conversion layer, integrated circuit and the connection elements between and then encapsulating the whole assembly. This provides improved moisture barrier properties, since the encapsulation also covers the connection elements and does not have to be opened to apply the electrical connections, as is done for known radiation detector core assemblies.

  • Patent number: 10126663
Abstract: A substrate holder for a lithographic apparatus has a planarization layer provided on a surface thereof. The planarization layer provides a smooth surface for the formation of a thin film stack forming an electronic component. The planarization layer is of substantially uniform thickness and/or its outer surface has a peak to valley distance of less than 10 ?m. The planarization layer may be formed by applying two solutions of different concentration. A surface treatment may be applied to the burls to repel a solution of the planarization layer material.
