  • Publication number: 20070073635
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for a table rows filter. A computer-implemented method of displaying information on a computer display device includes loading data into a table node data structure memory, the table node data structure including node elements and attributes, each of the node elements including a visibility attribute, and displaying a first view on the display device, the first view including a first subset of the data arranged in a table of rows and columns received from the table node data structure, the first subset data matching a first filtering criteria and a state of each of the visibility attributes. The method can include displaying a second view on the display device, the second view including a second subset of the plurality of data arranged in the table of rows and columns received from the node data structure, the second subset data matching a second filtering criteria and the state of the visibility attributes.

  • Patent number: 7176923
Abstract: A method and system to generate chart models are disclosed. Graphs may be rendered more efficiently by utilizing chart models, where multiple chart models are be generated utilizing the same set of chart data. Each chart model may be utilized to render a corresponding chart. In order to generate a chart model, a set of data may be totally disassembled first and then reassembled in an appropriate manner (e.g., according to a desired chart description). Disassembling may include, from a set of data, extracting data corresponding to all X coordinates (all abscissas), extracting data corresponding to all categories, and extracting the values corresponding to each abscissa-category pair. Reassembling may include generating a new set of data or a model, according a sorting logic.

  • Publication number: 20060070013
Abstract: A method and system drill down graphically are disclosed. When a chart or a graph represents a plurality of data components, a user may wish to know more details about a particular component of the data presented in the graph. A method and system drill down graphically enables a user to view the details related to a particular portion of a graph by simply selecting a particular portion of the graph.

  • Publication number: 20060064632
Abstract: A method and system to inverse graphs are disclosed. The system to inverse graphs includes a chart models generator to generate an initial chart model responsive to a request for an initial chart from a user; an extractor to receive a request for an inverse chart associated with the initial chart; a chart model inverser to generate the inverse chart utilizing the initial chart model; and a display component to provide the inverse chart to the user. The system may further include an inversions list generator to generate a list of one or more graph inversions associated with the initial chart model. The display component may be configured to provide this list to the user, such that the user may select a graph inversion from the list.

  • Publication number: 20050268244
Abstract: A method and system a method and system to provide direct access to subviews are disclosed. A subview may be utilized to provide a user with details of a particular aspect of a service. A direct access to a subview is provided to achieve more efficient navigation. In order to invoke directly a subview that requires one or more parameters, a user may be presented with a selection from the list of acceptable values for each of the required parameters. Once the user makes a selection indicating the values for the required parameters, the associated subview may be invoked.
