  • Patent number: 10069594
Abstract: An apparatus for processing a signal depending on a received radio frequency signal is provided. The apparatus includes a first semiconductor circuit including a first part of a radio frequency receiver and a second semiconductor circuit including a second part of the radio frequency receiver. The apparatus further includes a digital interface configured to transmit data related to the signal depending on the received radio frequency signal from the first semiconductor circuit to the second semiconductor circuit. The first semiconductor circuit includes a first data converter configured to convert a data value of the signal depending on the received radio frequency signal from a first data format to a second data format and provide data representing the data value in the second data format to the digital interface. The second semiconductor circuit includes a second data converter configured to convert the data representing the data value in the second data format to the first data format.
