This multi-ply product shows an excellent adhesion between the plies, even if the product carries a lotion.

Abstract: A composition is provided containing moisture regulators for tissue products. The composition contains 1% to 15% by weight, preferably 2% to 20% by weight, relative to the total composition, of at least one special non-ionic surfactant selected from among at least one amine oxide and/or hydroxy acid esters and/or at least one ampho-surfactant. Also provided is a tissue product as well as to a process for the production of tissue products.

Abstract: A roll product consists of a band-shaped web of material having a first end, a second end and a hollow cylindrical core onto which the band-shaped web of material is wound. The hollow cylindrical core has a longitudinal direction and a radial direction. The hollow cylindrical core comprises an inner surface, an outer surface, and at least one protuberance protruding outwardly from the outer surface, principally in the radial direction of the hollow cylindrical core, for mechanically and releasably engaging and holding the first end of the band-shaped web of material. The protuberance is an integral part of the hollow cylindrical core and comprises the inner surface and the outer surface of the hollow cylindrical core.

Abstract: A tissue paper making machine, a tissue paper product, and a method for producing such a tissue paper product. According to the invention, a dewatering and sheet-forming wire (13;14) is deposited in the pulp flow area by a texturing wire (16;17) that is provided with a texture comprised of closed wire zones. This results in the production of a tissue paper product having improved optical and haptic properties.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of applying a treatment composition to a fiber-based planar product, in particular tissue, said method comprising the steps of: a) producing particles from a frozen treatment composition containing at least one treatment chemical, c) applying the frozen particles of the treatment composition to the planar product, d) heating the frozen particles of the treatment composition to the melting point of the frozen treatment composition or to a higher temperature, as well as an apparatus usable for this method and a fiber-based planar product obtainable by this method. The method of the invention is particularly suitable for the application of treatment chemicals having chemical or physical properties which are difficult to bring into harmony, when applying these chemicals.
