  • Patent number: 4905846
Abstract: An apparatus for suspending articles from a surface is disclosed having a head portion and one arm member extending outwardly from one side of the head portion, arranged at an angle with respect to the head portion and haivng at least two spaced apart detents near a free distal end. An article to be suspended is hung from the arm member. The detents are in the form of bends in the arm and serve to restrict the article's movement in a longitudinal direction with respect to the arm member. The articles are held at the more proximal second detent, thereby leaving the more distal first detent open to allow for easy replacement of an article.

  • Patent number: 4819294
Abstract: A pad-type paint applicator includes a base adapted to releaseably receive a paint applicator pad, and a handle assembly removably attachable to the base and including an adjustment mechanism which permits the handle to be locked in virtually any position between a position with the handle located normal to the base and a position with the handle located parallel to the base, the locking mechanism including a serrated surface at the base of the handle adapted to be driven into engagement with a complementary serrated surface on the upper surface of the base.

  • Patent number: 4742923
Abstract: An apparatus for suspending articles from a surface is disclosed having a head portion and three arm members extending outwardly from one side of the head portion, arranged at an angle with respect to the head portion and having a triangular configuration. An article to be suspended is hung from the first arm member and extends between the second and third arm members which restrict the articles transverse movement. Both the first and third arm members are bent near their distal ends to restrict the articles movement in a longitudinal direction with respect to the arm members. The first arm member is also provided with an extension beyond the second and third arm members to allow for easy replacement of an article.

  • Patent number: 4667363
Abstract: A paint roller guard assembly includes a paint shield adapted to support a paint roller, and a separate handle having a solid threaded mounting end which is received in a threaded connector portion of a cover mounted on a side wall of the paint shield to attach the handle to the paint shield during use of the paint guard assembly for painting. The handle is removable from the paint shield to permit a water hose to be connected to the connector portion to supply water under pressure to an inner chamber defined by the cover for discharge through apertures formed through the side wall of the paint shield to impact the paint roller causing it to rotate and simultaneously wash residual paint from the paint roller.
