    Abstract: A clipping apparatus for holding rebar is disclosed. The clipping apparatus includes having a first base portion and a second base portion. Extensions and clips are positioned in the base portions to hold one or more rebar rods or wires in a stable orientation. Platforms are positioned to give a user a plane upon which to apply an engaging force to clip the rebar into the clipping apparatus. A chair arrangement is positioned to provide spacing between adjacent planes of rebar. A fluid-stop section is positioned about the first base portion and the second base portion. The fluid-stop section also includes a raised rim. Together with the base, platforms, and chair, the fluid-stop section to help prevent flow of liquid through the clipping apparatus.

    Abstract: A spacer for positioning rods and wire in concrete is disclosed. In some embodiments, the spacer includes first and second saddle portions joined together via a connection mechanism. Spacing members are joined with the first and second saddle portions and first and second outer edges are joined with the spacing members opposite the first and second saddle portions. A conforming fixed centering tab having a centering groove is joined with the first saddle portion at first and second ends. An adjustable and conforming centering flap is joined with the second saddle portion at a first end via a hinge connection and includes a free second end opposite the first end. The centering flap has a length greater than a width of an opening of the second saddle portion. The connection mechanism is joined with the spacing members adjacent the outer edges for pivoting the first and second saddle portions.

    Abstract: A stackable riser section having a single side wall having a first open end defined by an edge and a second open, channel end. The riser section includes a plurality of bosses extending to the first open end and connected to an interior surface of the sidewall by narrow webs. A channel, on the channel end of one riser is adapted to receive the bosses of a mated riser. A wall defining the boss receiving channel has a plurality of slots with at least a portion defined by parallel edges. The slots receive the webs that connect the bosses to the riser sidewall. The bosses are wider than the portion of the slots defined by the parallel edges. The slotted wall includes thickened wedge portions to snugly fit with the first open end of another riser section. A cover is disclosed that includes the same channel end to coact with the first open end of a riser section.

    Abstract: An orifice shield for distributing water flowing from an orifice in a pipe and preventing blockage of the orifice. The orifice shield includes a housing including a cage, the cage being defined by a first plate joined to a second plate via fins, the fins being joined via a plurality of lateral members, the cage including a plurality of openings or slots defined between the fins and the lateral members, the first plate including a central shaft extending downwardly toward the second plate. A freely rotating fan is mounted on the shaft. The fan is adapted to evenly distribute the water flowing from the orifice via the openings or slots. The housing may also be a box housing including a plurality of openings or slots defined therein. The housing includes a first clamp and a second clamp that are adapted to be removably secured to the pipe.
