    Abstract: A method of implanting first and second stents with associated grafts within first and second vessel regions extending at an angle with respect to each other comprising inserting a first guidewire to guide a first stent with an associated first graft to the first vessel region, inserting a second guidewire to guide a second stent with an associated second graft to the second vessel region, inserting first and second delivery sheaths containing the first and second stent with the associated grafts over the first and second guidewires and removing the first and second delivery sheaths to enable the first and second stents with the associated grafts to expand against the wall of the first and second vessel regions, respectively. A delivery system is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A system for treating stenosis in a target blood vessel, such as the common carotid artery, comprising a graft portion having a main portion and a branch portion extending therefrom. The branch portion extends from the intermediate portion of the main portion at an angle thereto and is in fluid communication with the main portion. A first stent is associated with the main portion and is expandable from a first configuration to a second configuration to retain the main portion in position within the target vessel. A second stent is associated with the branch portion and is expandable from a first configuration to a second configuration to retain the branch portion in position within a branching vessel. In one embodiment, the branch portion is integral with the main portion. In an alternate embodiment the branch portion is connected to the main portion.

The operative site is percutaneously accessed, and obstructing tissue is retracted by engaging the tissue with the retractor blade. A surgical instrument is provided which is engageable with the base and operable at the operative site through the opening in the base.     Abstract: The present invention provides a valve configured for insertion on the proximal and distal sides of a heart valve annulus to replace the heart valve of a patient. The valve comprises a first substantially annular portion adapted to be positioned on a proximal side of the annulus of a patient and a second substantially annular portion adapted to be positioned on a distal side of the annulus of a patient, wherein at least one of the first and second substantially annular portions is movable towards the other portion to a clamped position to clamp around the annulus. The second portion has a flow restricting portion extending therefrom and is movable between a first position to permit the flow of blood and a second position to restrict the flow of blood. In one embodiment, the valve has a suture joining the first and second portions to draw the first and second portions into closer proximity and a cinch member to secure the suture to maintain the first and second portions in the clamped position.

The first and second filtering portions are positioned closer to each other than the first and second anchoring portions, and the anchoring portions being formed on first and second opposite portions of the vessel filter.
