  • Publication number: 20220234488
Abstract: An automated cargo vehicle ramp deployment system includes a controller and a power source connected thereto, a ramp located at the existing cargo vehicle, a first automated ramp displacement mechanism for configured to selectively displace the ramp from a first position to a second position defined along a perimeter of the existing cargo vehicle while the ramp is maintained at a vertically oriented position, a second automated ramp displacement mechanism for configured to selectively displace the ramp from one of the first position and the second position to a third position, and a third automated ramp displacement mechanism for selectively adjusting a longitudinal length of the ramp while the ramp is statically disposed at a third position.

  • Publication number: 20070108204
Abstract: A container includes side walls and end walls that can be folded to collapse the container for transport and storage. The end walls are hinged to, and can be folded against, the container floor. The side walls are articulated so that they can be folded in half. A sliding coupling secures the side walls in the unfolded position. The side walls also are hinged to, and can be folded against, the container floor and roof. One end forms an opening that can be closed with a door.

  • Publication number: 20060285959
Abstract: A mobile carrier frame is used for lifting, handling, and transporting containers on to and off of the platform of a transport vehicle, such as a truck. Drive wheels and caster wheels are positioned such that the carrier frame may be more easily maneuvered into tight spaces, such as parallel parking spaces. The carrier frame may be remotely operated by means of a remote control device. A transverse element at the rear end of the carrier frame may be used to provide additional structural support to the carrier frame, especially when in an engaged position.

  • Patent number: 4791731
Abstract: A device for installing an article on a vertical surface is disclosed. The device includes a base and a first longitudinal member connected to the base. A second longitudinal member is slidable longitudinally relative the first member. The second longitudinal member is in a telescopic relationship with the first longitudinal member enabling the distal end of the second longitudinal member to be varied in vertical height relative to the base. A template frame is secured to the second member and a plurality of punches are disposed in the frame. The device also includes a lock for locking the relative position between the first and the second longitudinal members, enabling an operator to position the template frame a predetermined distance vertically above the base with the template frame being located in contact with the vertical surface to form an aperture in the vertical surface upon depression of at least one of the plurality of punches to install the article on the vertical surface thereby.
