  • Patent number: 11953231
Abstract: A heating device includes a housing closed with a cover element and enclosing a combustion chamber, wherein an opening for receiving a burner device pointing into the combustion chamber is provided on the cover element, wherein the opening is delimited by a first cylindrical sheet section of the cover element (1), wherein the first sheet section is connected to a second sheet section of the cover element so as to face away from the combustion chamber. The second sheet section extends radially outwards as a contact flange for the burner device.

  • Publication number: 20230277875
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of determining information regarding the location of energy deposition of an ion beam in an absorptive medium, comprising the following steps: generating a pulsed ion beam, detecting a time-resolved acoustic signal, said time-resolved acoustic signal comprising an energy-deposition-signal component attributable to the energy deposition of an individual pulse of said pulsed ion beam in said absorptive medium, determining relative timing information of the energy deposition of said individual pulse with respect to said time-resolved acoustic signal, providing a matched filter for processing the time-resolved acoustic signal, and applying said matched filter to said time-resolved acoustic signal, deriving, from the filtered time-resolved signal, occurrence timing information related to the occurrence of said energy-deposition signal component in said time-resolved acoustic signal, and deriving information regarding the location of the energy deposition based, at least in part, on a d

  • Publication number: 20120247966
Abstract: A method electrochemically coats a substrate by brush plating. Particles are applied to the surface to be coated via a separated line system before the carrier for the electrolytes. The electrolyte is added to the carrier via a line system. The advantageous result thereof is that an agglomeration of the particles can be prevented because only a short time passes after the application of the particles until the formation of the layer. A device for electrochemical coating has two line systems for the cited purpose. The highly stressed surface components of rollers in rolling mills can be partially coated by the method.

  • Patent number: 5411283
Abstract: A safety ski binding comprising an electronic evaluating circuit which is connected to force-receiving means giving off electrical signals, an electrical current supply, for example a battery, and an electromechanical release member, which drives a control element which controls a locking mechanism engaging a movably supported sole-down-holding means, with the electromechanical release member being arranged at least with a part of the control element in a tightly closed housing of a control block, with the control element being designed as a shaft snugly guided through the wall of the housing. In order to assure in such a binding a high degree of insensitivity of the release characteristic with respect to accelerating forces acting onto the release mechanism, it is provided that the electromechanical release member is formed by an electric motor (105') which controls preferably through a gearing a locking system blocking or releasing the shaft (7) serving as the control element.
