Abstract: A liquid separating device for the separation of a liquid mixture that at least comprises two liquids with a different density and possibly one or more solid substances comprising a conduit for the separation therein of the liquids of a liquid mixture that flows through the conduit and a swirl device for generating swirls in the liquid mixture in such a way that two liquid flows are created where a first liquid flow will concentrate in the centre of the conduit and a second liquid flow will move concentrically around the first liquid flow and where the swirl device comprises a motor that is positioned outside the conduit, a swirling element that is positioned in the conduit and a drive shaft that connects the motor and the swirling element to each other characterized in that the swirl device can be removed and that an opening has been provided in a wall of the conduit for the swirling element to pass through.
