  • Publication number: 20240163506
Abstract: Embodiments can cause a media capturing device and a carrier device to establish a communication session there between so that the media capturing device can receive hotspot credentials and connect to a hotspot of the carrier device for Internet connectivity. The media capturing device can then connect to a remote streaming server via the hotspot, causing the creation of a media stream associated with a unique identifier of the media capturing device at a streaming server. The streaming server can return a URL associated with the media stream of the media capturing device to the carrier device, so that the carrier device can access, view, control, or share the media stream with other computing devices.

  • Publication number: 20240160396
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are generally directed to a head-mounted base system that allows a user to remove a display portion from a base portion thereof. According to some examples, the user captures video data via a head-mounted display (HMD) or other head mounted computing device. This head mounted computing device comprises a wearable system which allows the user to perform tasks and capture video data by the HMD simultaneously. It is desired that the user or technician be able to view video data provided to the HMD hands-free. The user may be able to attach an auxiliary display system which self-aligns with the head-mounted base system. When the auxiliary display system attaches to the head-mounted base system, a wireless connection capable of transmitting video is established allowing the user to attach and remove the auxiliary display system easily and without disrupting a video recording device.

  • Patent number: 10792593
Abstract: A method for removing gas from a froth by supplying at least a portion of the froth from a vessel into a housing, providing a flow of fluid through the housing, introducing the froth into the fluid such that at least a portion of the gas in the froth is removed from the froth and entrained in the fluid to form a mixture of fluid and entrained gas and subsequently delivering the mixture to the vessel and/or another location within a processing circuit.

  • Patent number: 6275603
Abstract: This invention provides a method and apparatus (100) for detecting small glass particles (12) in bottles (1) filled with beer (10). The beer (10) is caused to rotate with respect to the bottle (1), and successive images are obtained from the bottle by means of a CCD-camera (40) which is arranged such that its optical axis (41) makes an angle &agr; of about 135° with the axis (13) of the bottle (1), which is illuminated from below. The successive images are subtracted from each other to detect refracted light emanating from glass particles. These measurements are repeated a plurality of times. The invention thus offers an improvement in sensitivity and reliability of a detecting method. An apparatus (100) comprises a carousel (103) with a plurality of cameras dedicated to a single bottle. A system is described to reduce costs by having eight cameras share one image processing unit.
