  • Patent number: 12580969
Abstract: Systems and methods for selectively providing selective information access based on network performance are disclosed. A system maintains application state information for a protected network session involving multiple client devices accessing the application. The system generates latency metrics for each client based on received network communications. Using the application state information, the system determines whether the latency metric of a first client device meets an interruption criterion. Upon satisfying the criterion, the system selectively provides the first client device with a first graphical content representing the application state. Client devices whose latency metrics do not meet the interruption criterion are selectively provided with a second graphical content representing the application state.

  • Patent number: 11794868
Abstract: A wingsurfing wing, a handle thereof and a method of retaining the handle. The handle includes a member that is elongated in an elongation direction to be suitable for grasping. First and second attachment portions suitable for attaching the member to a strut of the wing extend from the member and are spaced apart from each other in the elongation direction. A fitting defines the second attachment portion and is adjustable between first and second configurations. In the first configuration, the fitting is movably engaged with the member to reposition the second attachment portion in the elongation direction. In the second configuration, the fitting is fixedly engaged with the member. The method includes causing frictional engagement between the strut and the fitting via an interference fit between a fastening portion and the strut, and causing frictional engagement between the fitting and the member to prevent movement of the fitting.

  • Patent number: 11018174
Abstract: Techniques of drawing ESD current away from an image sensor device of a CMOS image sensor die include using a light shield configured to block light from an image sensor device. The light shield may be used to draw the ESD current away when it has an electrical connection to an ESD ground bus and/or to a bond pad of the CMOS image sensor die. Advantageously, the light shield has a low resistance due to its large surface area. Accordingly, parallel connections to the bond pads and/or ESD bus have a resistance close to the low resistance of the light shield without altering the size of the die.

  • Patent number: 9638178
Abstract: An ion electrospray device with a porous reservoir and at least one porous emitter includes a porous compliant interface sandwiched between the porous reservoir and the porous emitter for transferring fluid from the porous reservoir to the porous emitter. The interface has a characteristic capillary pressure stronger than the characteristic capillary pressure of the porous reservoir to fill the porous emitter with fluid via a fluid injection section of the interface and before the porous reservoir is then partially filled with fluid. Emitter leakage and propellant bridging problems are addressed.

  • Patent number: 7932906
Abstract: A graphical production system produces pixel bar charts, in various embodiments. In an embodiment, a pixel bar chart is constructed that may include multiple bars with substantially equal widths and potentially variable heights to enable visual data analysis. A bar may include a number of pixel units corresponding to a volume of data records represented within the bar. Selected visual indicators are displayed within the pixel units of the bar, where a selected visual indicator represents a value of an attribute of a data record represented by the pixel unit. In an embodiment, the pixel units may be ordered within a bar in a particular sequence (e.g., ascending, descending or some other order). Further, in an embodiment, the bar width is determined to minimize the amount of padding. In an embodiment, a visual indicator scale is displayed to indicate values associated with each visual indicator.
