  • Patent number: 7234007
Abstract: A method of processing a data stream through a buffer is performed in accordance with a write clock and a read clock. The buffer has a plurality of sequentially numbered storage cells. The method includes the steps of selecting an initial preload value, with the selecting step including determining a product of the maximum frequency offset between the write and read clocks, and a maximum time between arbitrary symbols in the data stream. The storage cells then receive data units in response to a write pointer. Data units are then provided from the storage cells in response to a read pointer.

  • Patent number: 7081686
Abstract: This invention relates to an innovative power supply device for notebook computers, more particularly to a power supply device that can be carried with a notebook computer when computer users are out and unable to access alternate current power supply. The power supply device of the invention primarily uses the heat produced by a microprocessor of the notebook computer during its internal operation and is conducted to a power generator by a heat pipe or simultaneously uses the heat produced by a fuel heat generator and converts it into the required DC power supply by an engine chamber and an electric generator. Then, the direct current power is provided to the notebook computer, so that the notebook computer users no longer need the AC power supply.

  • Publication number: 20020195825
Abstract: A latch for a bird cage or other container is herein described. The invention includes a latching arm rotatably and slidably mounted to a door or other wall of the cage or container. The invention further comprises a latch arm receiver where the latch arm rests when in its closed position. The invention further includes means for preventing the latch arm from rotating out of its latched position. In operation, the latch arm is rotated about a lug until it rests in the latch receiver and then is slid into a position where the arm cannot rotate.

  • Patent number: 5641110
Abstract: A structure for connecting a nailing plate and magazine of a nailing machine includes a couple of corresponding baffle pieces respectively disposed at opposite longitudinal ends of the nailing plate, a couple of lugs located at both sides of one of the baffle pieces, and a connecting seat provided at a suitable position of the nailing plate. One side of the connecting seat is provided with through holes while the other side thereof is provided with a safety bar bracket. When the magazine is secured to the nailing plate, it may be restricted and positioned by the baffle pieces and the lugs. Locking screws are further used to securely lock the magazine to the connecting seat of the nailing plate.

  • Patent number: 5564614
Abstract: A nailing depth adjusting mechanism for a pneumatic nail gun is described. The mechanism includes a firing control strip fastened to the gun body which releases the firing pin of the pneumatic nail gun. The firing control strip has two parallel lugs and a toothed adjusting wheel disposed between the lugs. The wheel has a longitudinal axially internally threaded hole and holes are provided in the lugs. A safety bar is provided having a threaded rod at one end. The rod is inserted through the lugs and threadedly received in the hole in the adjusting wheel. The end extending from the wheel is received in a socket which, in turn, is received in a hole through one lug. A compression spring is provided between the adjusting wheel and the opposite lug. Rotation of the wheel then displaces the threaded rod within the mechanism and, in turn, moves the safety bar.
