Publication number: 20210279406Abstract: An apparatus takes text from a speech recognition device and converts this text into a smooth rolling presentation of text. The aspects of the disclosed embodiments are suited for use in a closed caption presentation of text. The user sees a smooth rolling presentation of text. Generally, a full screen of text, or 9-10 lines of text, can be presented in a smooth, rolling manner, without interruptions or pauses. There are no bursts of text, that might otherwise be realized with conventional devices. The rate of delivery of the text can be adjusted to match the rate of the speaker.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2021Publication date: September 9, 2021Applicant: KUB Technologies Inc.Inventors: Fountain Jones, Peter Yasutake, Kermit Eugene Graf, Vikram Butani

Patent number: 11039803Abstract: It would be advantageous with the close quarters in breast procedure rooms to create a system and method incorporating 2 modalities utilized in breast intervention procedures for the diagnosis and verification for breast cancer. Systems for specimen radiography assist radiologists and surgeons in the detection and classification of abnormal lesions in medical images gleaned from breast biopsies/lumpectomies and a Gamma or other probe system with a sensor to detect radioactive, metallic/magnet, or RFID waves to help locate a lump or abnormality which were placed by an Interventional Radiologist. With the utilization of a dual modality machine, the physician can detect the abnormalities, remove the abnormalities, and verify that they have achieved a clean margin, currently 1 mm, from the cancerous or abnormal tissues. Currently it is believed that there is not a system or method utilizing both a Gamma or other probe and Radiography in a cabinet system.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2020Date of Patent: June 22, 2021Assignee: Kub Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Vikram Butani, Chester Lowe, Vignesh Mandalapa-Bhoopathy, Edwin Maria-Selvaraj, John Pizzonia, Peter Yasutake
