  • Publication number: 20220084402
Abstract: A system includes an ego determining device which is designed to determine at least one readiness for cooperation and/or at least one movement range for the ego vehicle; an ego communication unit which is coupled to the ego determining device and is designed to create an ego maneuver coordination message on the basis of the at least one determined readiness for cooperation and/or the at least one determined movement range; the ego communication unit having a vehicle interface which is designed to transmit the ego maneuver coordination message to at least one other road user and to receive a maneuver coordination message from at least one other road user; and an ego maneuver-planning unit which is coupled to the ego determining device and the ego communication unit and is designed to plan a driving maneuver of the ego vehicle taking into account a received maneuver coordination message.

  • Patent number: 9738279
Abstract: The invention relates to determining a lane course with the aid of a plurality of recorded routes of vehicles using a compensation curve. Each of the plurality of recorded routes includes individual position indications in an order of passing during a respective journey. The method includes selecting a route from the plurality of recorded routes, determining a number of checkpoints for the compensation curve based on the selected route, and determining an initial compensation curve based on the number of checkpoints and the selected route from the plurality of routes.

  • Patent number: 9371089
Abstract: A driver assistance system and method of operating same is provided for a non-track-bound. By applying a steering torque to the driver's steering wheel via an electric motor, a direction-oriented steering recommendation is made to the driver. By this steering torque, first, a steering wheel angle in the recommended rotating direction at an angular speed that is greater in its amount is set and subsequently a steering wheel angle is set in the opposite rotating direction at an angular speed that is lower in its amount. Subsequent to the setting of the steering wheel angle having the opposite rotating direction, at a comparatively lower angular speed, a further steering wheel angle can be set, by which the vehicle is changed along a straight course of the road essentially to the orientation held before the making of the direction-oriented steering recommendation.

  • Patent number: 8532901
Abstract: A method is provided for automatically decelerating a vehicle to avoid a collision or reduce the consequences of a collision with a detected collision object, wherein, at a determined intervention point-in-time, a brake system of the vehicle is automatically triggered such that a deceleration of the vehicle is caused, and wherein an automatic deactivation of the automatic braking intervention can take place by an increased actuation of the accelerator. A deactivation is carried out as a function of an override maneuver that depends on the actual driving dynamics, particularly an actuation of the accelerator that depends on the actual driving dynamics.

  • Patent number: 8489318
Abstract: The invention relates to an emergency brake assistant for automatically decelerating a vehicle to prevent a collision or reduce the consequences of a collision with a detected collision object, at a determined intervention point in time, a brake system of the vehicle being automatically activated such that a collision with the detected collision object can be prevented or at least the consequences of the collision can be reduced. The invention is characterized in that the intervention point in time can be determined as a function of the end point in time of a determined driver reaction time and of the determined last-possible braking point in time.
