    Abstract: A bicycle retention bracket system includes a bracket having an open loop end for attachment to a bicycle and a clasping end having a U-shaped seat surrounded by a living hinge clamping mechanism for releasably clasping an article, such as the locking mechanism of a bicycle lock. The article to be secured has at least one semi-circular trough for guiding and securing the lock in the U-shaped seat.
