  • Patent number: 11333766
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for assisting a driver of a vehicle/trailer combination (1) formed by a towing vehicle (2) and a trailer (3) during maneuvering with the vehicle/trailer combination (1), wherein lidar sensor data of a lidar sensor device (6) of the towing vehicle (2) are received from an environmental region (5) of the vehicle/trailer combination (1), detection points (9) corresponding to the trailer (3) are identified in the lidar sensor data and a blind spot region (8) for the trailer (3) is defined as a function of the detection points (9) corresponding to the trailer (3), wherein a kinematic model (17) describing the trailer (3) is preset, at least one model sub-region at least partially overlapping the kinematic model (17) is determined, the detection points (9) located within the model sub-region are classified as detection points (9) corresponding to the trailer (3), the kinematic model (17) of the trailer (3) is updated based on the detection points (9) corresponding with the trailer

  • Patent number: 10655957
Abstract: A method for characterizing a trailer attached to a towing vehicle having a kinematic model describing the trailer, a driver assistance system, and a vehicle/trailer combination are disclosed. The method includes: receiving lidar sensor data of a lidar sensor device of the towing vehicle from an environmental region of the towing vehicle and the attached trailer and identifying detection points corresponding to reflection points in the environmental region in the lidar sensor data; determining at least one model sub-region at least partially overlapping with the kinematic model; classifying the detection points lying within the model sub-region as detection points corresponding with the trailer; determining at least one feature of the trailer based on detection points corresponding with the trailer; comparing the at least one feature with the kinematic model; and updating the kinematic model based on the comparison of the at least one feature with the kinematic model.

  • Publication number: 20180356214
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for characterizing a trailer (3) attached to a towing vehicle (2), in which a kinematic model (8) describing the trailer (3) is given, wherein the following steps are performed: a) receiving lidar sensor data of a lidar sensor device (6) of the towing vehicle (2) from an environmental region (5) of the towing vehicle (2) and the attached trailer (3) and identifying detection points (D, D?, D?) corresponding to reflection points in the environmental region (5) in the lidar sensor data; b) determining at least one model sub-region (10, 11, 12) at least partially overlapping with the kinematic model (8); c) classifying the detection points (D, D?) lying within the model sub-region (10, 11, 12) as detection points (D, D?) corresponding with the trailer (3); d) determining at least one feature (M) of the trailer (3) based on detection points (D, D?) corresponding with the trailer (3); e) comparing the at least one feature (M) with the kinematic model (8); and f) updating the kine

  • Patent number: 8299092
Abstract: Derivatives of 2-phenyl-3-hydroxyquinoline-4(1H)-one of the general formula (II), where X represents a nitro group, amino group, and Y represents an atom of halogen, oxygen or sulphur substituted by C1 to C6 alkyl or phenyl group, whereby both the alkyl and phenyl group may be further substituted and the substituents may be identical or different, or by nitrogen substituted independently by hydrogen, C1 to C6 alkyl, C1 to C6 alkyl, which may be substituted among others by halogen, hydroxy, C1 to C4 alkoxy or C1 to C4 alkylamino group, or may form a saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic ring with 5 to 7 atoms, where the individual ring atoms comprise atoms of carbon, and any of the carbon atoms may be substituted by an atom of nitrogen, sulphur or oxygen, X and Y together form an imidazo group, or imidazo group substituted by C1 to C6 alkyl, which may be substituted among others by halogen, hydroxy, C1 to C4 alkoxy or C1 to C4 alkylamino group, CHO or acetylgroup, or a heterocyclic ring with 5 to 6 atoms, wher
