    Abstract: The present invention describes the method of suturing the stomach with the intestine, incorporating stitching up the stomach, severing the respected gastric portion, dissecting the seromuscular layers alone of the gastric wall at the place of anastomosing along the line the length of which corresponds to the required size of the anastomosis, compressing the remaining gastric portion in a close proximity to the place of the abovesaid dissection of the seromuscular layers, catching the opposite semiperimeters of the gastric wall by the mucosubmucous layers in front of the line of compression of the remaining gastric portion on the side of establishing the required anastomosis, severing the affected gastric portion some distance apart from the line of catch on the outer side of the remaining gastric portion, compressing and catching the enteric wall on its segment whose length corresponds to the size of the caught semiperimeters of the gastric wall within the zone of the anastomosis being established, followed

    Abstract: A surgical apparatus for suturing organs with metal staples comprises two clamps, each of said clamps having two jaws for clamping and fixing the organs being sutured and detachably joined together so that the mating plane of the jaws of each clamp is perpendicular to the mating plane of the clamps. Mounted on the clamp jaws are magazines with slots for staples, staple pushers, dies with grooves for clinching said staples and suitable for grasping and fixing the walls of the organs being sutured, embodied as casings with members fixing the walls of the organs. The casings are set on each of the jaws in guides permitting restricted movement of said casings in a plane perpendicular to the mating plane of the jaws and the mating plane of the clamps.
