  • Patent number: 10697405
Abstract: An exhaust gas cooler comprises at least one exhaust gas pipe for exhaust gas being cooled and is characterized in that at least one gap is provided between the wall of the exhaust gas pipe and laterally adjacent components at the inlet of at least one exhaust gas pipe in the direction of extension of at least one wall perpendicular to the flow direction of the exhaust gas.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: June 30, 2020
    Assignee: HANON SYSTEMS
Inventors: Carsten Ohrem, Petr Sispera, Jürgen Nothbaum, Jiri Tomecek
  • Patent number: 10590816
Abstract: A coiling heat exchanger, characterized by a heat exchanger spiral consisting of a liquid shield with fins, whereby neighboring coils of the spiral of the liquid shield are spaced apart from one another by the fins and connected to one another in a heat exchanging manner and that the liquid shield is perfused by liquid, whereby gas flows between the neighboring coils of the spiral of the liquid shield along the coiling axis.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 17, 2020
    Assignee: HANON SYSTEMS
Inventors: Carsten Ohrem, Peter Diehl, Petr Sispera
  • Publication number: 20190186431
Abstract: A tube (10) for an exhaust gas cooler comprises at least two projections (14), developed on the inside, of which at least one, implemented closer to the gas inlet, is developed lower in the direction toward the tube axis than at least one that is implemented closer to the gas outlet. An exhaust gas cooler comprises at least one such tube.

  • Patent number: 10254052
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat exchanger for exhaust gas cooling, in particular for motor vehicles. The heat exchanger includes a flow duct which is formed from heat exchange tubes being arranged in parallel to one another, and through which the exhaust gas to be cooled can flow and around which a liquid coolant can flow, and secondly includes a housing having a housing wall and tube bottoms. The housing wall and the tube bottoms delimit a flow chamber for the coolant. The heat exchange tubes being arranged so as to form a tube bundle are formed with straight sections and deflection zones, wherein the heat exchange tubes in at least two deflection zones sweep an angle of at least 90°.

  • Publication number: 20190040781
Abstract: A heat exchanger is disclosed for the exhaust gas train of a motor vehicle with an exhaust gas carrying exchanger tube that is formed separately and is disposed in a closed housing formed separately, a coolant flowing through the housing and around the outer side of the exchanger tube. The housing forms at least one housing cover and one housing case, the housing case being tightly closed by the housing cover. Both ends of the exchanger tube are conducted for gas and liquid tight connection through the housing cover so that the inlet and the outlet of the exchanger tube are disposed outside of the housing.
