  • Publication number: 20240065807
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to capturing a 3-dimensional representation of a patient's face from multiple angles to be integrated with (fused) with at least a 3-dimensional intra-oral mesh of the patient's teeth for purposes of visualizing a dental treatment plan. In one aspect, a method includes capturing media of a patient's face from multiple angles, using at least one device; transforming the media into a 3-dimensional representation of the patient's face; and transmitting, the 3-dimensional representation of the patient's face to one or more processing components to be integrated with a 3-dimensional representation of the patient's intra-oral scan to visualize a dental treatment plan for the patient.

  • Publication number: 20160210761
Abstract: A camera of an apparatus for determining a set of model data describing an object in three dimensions from two-dimensional image frames taken from the object, is responsible for taking the two-dimensional image frames from the object. A processor of the apparatus is adapted to determine an interim set of model data representing a portion of the object which is derivable from a set of image frames supplied by the camera so far.

  • Patent number: 4737844
Abstract: A method for generating real-time control parameters by a video camera for smoke-generating combustion reactions is disclosed. In accordance with the method, a video camera is used for obtaining a video signal, which is digitized and filtered temporally and spatially. The digitized video signal is divided on the basis of its signal level distribution into signal subareas to reduce the quantity of processed information. The picture elements belonging to the same subarea are combined into contiguous image areas representing a certain signal level, the subareas are combined into an integrated image, subsequent images are averaged to eliminate random disturbance, and the averaged image is displayed on a display device. This method facilitates the real-time monitoring of a combustion process.
