  • Publication number: 20220107147
Abstract: Disclosed is methods and systems for cleaning devices holding fluid such as heat exchanges. The cleaning is performed by using a system such as a transducer assembly including at least one pair of protrusions acting as point-like pressure sources or at least one substantially circular protrusion acting as a substantially circular point-like pressure source, coupled to outer surface of the device to be cleaned. Accordingly, coupling of the system to device is reduced, and as a result, the system is able to operate at its fundamental resonance frequency, while the protrusions still permit power delivery to the device.

  • Patent number: 11224901
Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for cleaning of devices, such as heat exchangers. According to the invention, controlled cavitation is created at predetermined positions within a device. The cavitation is done by mechanical waves, such as ultrasound waves, generated by transducers, wherein the waves are based on output of time-reversal wave form analysis of the device structures.

  • Publication number: 20200406017
Abstract: An object delivery arrangement is disclosed for delivering objects into bone. The arrangement is configured for generating localized mechanical waves into a tissue, for performing localized deposition of the objects near bone, and for exposing the objects and the bone to said mechanical waves to obtain deposition of the objects into the bone.

  • Patent number: 10751026
Abstract: The object of the invention is a skeletal method utilizing electromagnetic waves to be utilized at least in one of skeletal actuation, skeletal detection and skeletal therapy. In the method is performed at least one of first and second method steps, where in the first method step is generated by means of electromagnetic waves at least one mechanical wave in at least one generation location into the skeleton through soft tissue. In the second method step is detected by means of electromagnetic waves skeletal vibrations due to at least one mechanical wave, is recorded the detected at least one mechanical wave in at least one recording location to form mechanical wave information, and distance of said at least one recording location from said at least one generation location is known, and further in the second method step is determined skeletal properties based on at least one recorded signal.

  • Patent number: 7601120
Abstract: A method for the in vivo non-invasive characterization of the material and architectural properties of a bone in which an ultrasonic wave is introduced into a bone in such way as to produce one or more guided wave modes within the bone, and the signals emerging from the bone are stored and analyzed to determine the propagation characteristics of the guided wave/s. These measured guided wave propagation characteristics are then processed to obtain estimates of desired bone properties such as cortical thickness, bone density and bone elastic constants. The invention also includes an unltrasound arrangement with movable transducers.
