The first body portion may have a first adhesive bonding area in fluid communication with the channel and the second body portion may have a second adhesive bonding area in fluid communication with the channel. The corner key may be inserted into a first and a second window element. An adhesive material may be inserted through the port to spread through the channel to the first and second adhesive bonding areas inserted into the window elements, thereby forming an adhesive bond therewith.
