    Abstract: The present invention refers to a gas collection system from the sea bottom's vents, used to collect gaseous emissions found on the sea or ocean's bottom, from the entire area of sediments deposits with hydrates without lithologic coverage. The system, in a first version, is destined to depths accessible to a diver and consists of some conical rooms 1 connected at their superior part with some conduits 2, to some collecting conduits 3, further connected to an other conduit 4 which will lead the mixture of sea's water and gas to a gas separator station, not shown, located somewhere below the sea level, in water or on the shore. Each connection conduit 2 with collecting conduit 3 is provided with a valve 5 and before it, with a gas detector 6.

    Abstract: The present invention is referring to a procedure and an apparatus for collection of free methane gas from the sea bottom, destined to collect and liquefy the methane gas liberated from metastabile deposits of hydrate methane situated on the seas or oceans bottom. The procedure, in a first version of realization, according to the invention, includes the collection of free methane gas from the sea bottom in a mixture with the sea water and directing this mixture up wards to the surface, where is taking place a gravitational distribution of it on a big surface, for permitting the methane gas to separate from water. The humid captured methane gas is cooled to produce the condensation of the last seawater fraction after, which is done its cooling to the required temperature for passing from the gaseous state into the liquid state.

The procedure, in accordance with the invention, consists of lowering a take out enclosure to a depth of over 500 m., followed by a take out of a quantity of cryohydrate sediment from the bottom of the sea and the elevation of enclosure until is reached a level at which the water pressure and its temperature create conditions which allowed the beginning of a process of releasing of methane gas from cryohydrate crystals. The following operation is the releasing of methane from the entire quantity of take out cryohydrate, methane that is collected in a room from where is raised through a tube and captured into an enclosure and then liquefied.
