  • Publication number: 20200367748
Abstract: A measurement system includes one or more sensor devices that measure physiological measurement data; an apparatus including a portable electronic device and/or server computer that performs operations including receiving the physiological measurement data from the sensor device; associating the physiological measurement data with a user account of the user; determining whether the received physiological measurement data includes physiological measurement data required by an algorithm; as a response to determining that the received physiological measurement data includes physiological measurement data required by the algorithm, performing the algorithm; and as a response to determining that the received physiological measurement data includes the physiological measurement data required by the algorithm included in a coaching category that is in an inactive state, changing the coaching category to an active state.

  • Patent number: 10335636
Abstract: A system that monitors user activity includes a wrist device including a curved body and an electronic circuitry supported by the body. The electronic circuitry includes a first set of light emitting diodes arranged in a matrix form and forming a display unit, at least one motion sensor configured to measure physical motion caused by a user to the wrist device, and at least one processor configured to acquire motion measurement data from the at least one motion sensor, to process the motion measurement data into a motion activity metric, and to cause the display unit to display the motion activity metric. The at least one processor is further configured to acquire heart activity measurement data from a heart activity sensor, to process the heart activity measurement data into a heart activity metric, and to cause the display unit to display the heart activity metric.

  • Publication number: 20170340920
Abstract: A method for physiological monitoring of a user includes: acquiring, by an apparatus, physiological measurement data of the user, wherein the physiological measurement data is obtained using one or more sensor units; associating the physiological measurement data with a user account of the user, wherein the user account includes a plurality of coaching categories, and each coaching category includes one or more algorithms; determining whether the acquired physiological measurement data includes data required by at least one of the algorithms; and as a response to determining that the acquired physiological measurement data includes the required data for the at least one algorithm, performing the at least one algorithm. The performing causing an output of coaching-category-specific instructions to the user in each of the coaching categories including the at least one performed algorithm.

  • Patent number: 9705989
Abstract: A server computer to provide a web service including exercise data user accounts, acquire and store a unique device identifier of at least one physiological sensor device, associate each of the acquired at least one device identifier with one of the exercise data user accounts, detect that an exercise application of a user terminal successfully accesses a specific exercise data user account, and provide the user terminal with the at least one device identifier which is associated with the specific exercise data user account. There is further provided a user terminal to successfully access the specific exercise data user account in the web service, acquire the at least one device identifier from the web service, and apply the acquired at least one device identifier in determining whether or not to allow the user terminal to wirelessly pair with a physiological sensor device.
