  • Publication number: 20220259081
Abstract: An electrochemical cell has a high-performance alloy cathode, an oxidation resistant anode, an electrolyte, and a power supply. The electrolyte is contained within growth media containing an aqueous solution and a plurality of transport ions therein. The high-performance alloy cathode and the oxidation resistant anode are submerged in the growth media at least partially. The power supply provides power to the oxidation resistant anode to attract the plurality of transport ions to treat the growth media.

  • Patent number: 11009448
Abstract: A plurality of disparate datasets is aggregated into a geodata data structure specifying a plurality of geospatial locations and a set of aspatial parameters at each geospatial location. Each aspatial parameter is combined at each geospatial location to generate an atmospheric corrosivity scale parameter at each of the plurality of geospatial locations. A grid is created with cells representing each of the plurality of geospatial locations and each of the corresponding atmospheric corrosivity scale parameters. The grid is stored for output of at least a portion of the plurality of geospatial locations and the corresponding atmospheric corrosivity scale parameters overlaid on a geographic map.

  • Publication number: 20200392736
Abstract: A metal (carbon steel) tank receives growth media containing an electrolyte. An anode is positioned within the growth media in electrical contact with the metal tank to polarize the anode and the metal tank with a potential difference therebetween. The metal tank becomes a cathode when a potential difference is established between the metal tank and the anode. The anode, the cathode, and the electrolyte form an electrochemical cell. The carbon steel tank will be protected for twenty to thirty years.

  • Publication number: 20160190663
Abstract: A battery assembly includes a plurality of batteries operably positioned to be charged and discharged. At least a first battery and a second battery of the plurality of batteries include a stack of electrochemical cells encased in an electrically inert case. A pair of battery tabs outwardly extends from the case. At least the first battery and the second battery in the battery assembly are configured to be electrically connected through their battery tabs with one or more hollow busbars forming a passage for a coolant flow.
