  • Patent number: 11913820
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for tank level monitoring. To perform monitoring of fuel levels of fuel tanks, tank level monitor devices may be affixed to the fuel tanks. The tank level monitors may be used to provide data relating to the fuel tanks to a remote location (such as a mobile device application). A predictive algorithm may also be implemented to more effectively schedule refueling events for various fuel tanks.

  • Patent number: 11754661
Abstract: A system for locating an object in a volume of space can include a first electrical device disposed in the volume of space and having a first antenna and a first controller, where the first controller reduces a first default range of the first antenna to a first effective range. The system can also include an object disposed within the first effective range, where the first controller recognizes a first signal, using the first antenna, that identifies the object in the first effective range.

  • Publication number: 20230267774
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for sending vehicle information and health data over a wireless network. An example method may include receiving, from an on-board diagnostic (OBD) device associated with a vehicle and over a LoRaWAN network, a first message including first data, wherein the first data is a first category of data received by the OBD device from the vehicle. The example method may also include receiving, from the OBD device and over the LoRaWAN network, a second message including second data, wherein the second data is a second category of data received by the OBD device from the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230067617
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for detecting the location of objects using a network of internet of things (IoT) sensors (“tracking devices”). The tracking devices may be capable of determining location information (for example, through GPS signals) and may communicate this information to a central server. However, in some cases, a tracking device may be unable to communicate with the central server using a long-range communication network. The tracking device may also be unable to ascertain its own location. In such situations, other tracking devices may communicate with the tracking device over short-range signals, determine the location of the tracking device, and relay this information to the central server.

  • Publication number: 20220299591
Abstract: Location-based systems, such as a Real-time Location System (RTLS), are used to locate and track assets such as equipment, people, etc. In order to accomplish high accuracy in determining locations of assets (112-118), the information sent to the location server (108) from sensors (134, 138) should be accurate, relevant, sufficient, and timely. The limitations of a low bandwidth network between the sensors and the location server may pose challenges to reliably determining locations of assets. This invention is related to a hybrid lighting and location system (100), which involves the use of a system control device (106) and lighting devices (102, 104) that may include integrated sensors, transceivers, etc. Different embodiments are disclosed on apparatus, methods and systems to resolve the potential network congestion in such a hybrid system.

  • Patent number: 11170596
Abstract: A system for locating an object in a volume of space can include a communication device of the object disposed in the volume of space, where the communication device broadcasts a first communication signal into the volume of space, where the first communication signal includes a first identification of the object. The system can also include multiple integrated sensor devices disposed in the volume of space, where each integrated sensor device includes at least one sensor, at least one receiver, and at least one transmitter, where the at least one receiver of a subset of the integrated sensor devices receives the first communication signal, where each of the subset determines a signal strength of the first communication signal. The system can further include at least one access controller that receives at least one second communication signal sent by the subset.

  • Patent number: 11115950
Abstract: A system can include an object having a communication device, where the communication device of the object broadcasts a first signal from a first location within a volume of space at a first time. The system can also include a first electrical device and a second electrical device that receives the first signal in the volume of space. The system can also include a controller communicably coupled to the first electrical device and the second electrical device, where the controller determines a first strength of the first signal received by the first receiver, determines a second strength of the first signal received by the second receiver, scales the first signal relative to the second signal based on the first strength and the second strength, and determines a location of the object in the volume of space based on scaling the first signal relative to the second signal.

  • Publication number: 20210204134
Abstract: A system for identifying an illegitimate communication tag can include a first communication tag that transmits first communication signals, where the first communication signals include a first identification of the first communication tag. The system can also include a second communication tag that transmits second communication signals, where the second communication signals include the first identification. The system can further include electrical devices having receivers that receive the first communication signals and the second communication signals. The system can also include a controller communicably coupled to the electrical devices, where the controller analyzes the first communication signals to generate first information. The controller also updates a table using the first information and analyzes the second communication signals to generate second information.

  • Publication number: 20210201101
Abstract: A system for assigning alternative identification to objects can include a first communication device of a first object, where the first communication device broadcasts a first communication signal that includes a first identification of the first object. The system can also include a first electrical device having a first receiver and a first transmitter, where the first receiver receives the first communication signal. The system can further include a controller communicably coupled to the first electrical device, where the controller retrieves the first identification of the first communication device from the first communication signal, assigns a first alternative identification to the first communication device based on the first identification, saves the first identification and the first alternative identification of the first object in a first table, and sends a second communication signal that includes the first alternative identification and the first identification of the first object.
