  • Publication number: 20240070637
Abstract: A computing device retrieves a stabilized weight and a weight-based item count for one or more items to be purchased. Responsive to retrieving the stabilized weight, the computing device retrieves an image-based item count and an expected weight based on the image-based item count for the one or more items to be purchased. The computing device selects between authorizing and blocking checkout of the one or more items based on the weight-based item count, the image-based item count, the stabilized weight, and the expected weight.

  • Publication number: 20100235202
Abstract: The present invention relates to a management system for assisting a user in the management of a complex workflow process, the system being arranged to generate and record data regarding a sequence of events occurring over time constituting the complex workflow process. The system comprises a communications server which is arranged to output to a remote user terminal, and which is also arranged to output data relating to a current event of the complex workflow process. The communications server is also arranged to receive inputted user data from the remote user terminal, relating to the current event. The system also comprises a data store for storing the complex workflow process, storing the output data relating to events of the complex workflow process and storing the inputted event-related user data in corresponding user data records.

  • Publication number: 20040225382
Abstract: In motion control systems, definable jerk parameters (definable radius of curves on the motion profile) for any particular location on the motion profile are provided. Further, vector mode control capability is provided by employing a ring buffer defining data points across a motion profile, directing movement to a position at a defined velocity. Finally, real time position capture is provided in a motion control system to avoid position determination errors.

  • Patent number: 4505096
Abstract: The machine is attached to a standard tractor, and has a pair of sweeping rotors driven by an hydraulic system. The rotors are mounted on a pair of booms, respectively, pivotally connected to a structure carried by the tractor so that the booms can be swung laterally to selected positions determining the width of the path of operation. The weight of the rotors, and of the rear portions of the booms, is carried on skid discs forming part of each rotor.
