  • Patent number: 8819668
Abstract: A catalog for maintaining a store of public and private limited distribution release software changes in a single location. A method for distributing limited distribution release software changes to clients via a network comprises receiving a search request, authenticating the client, querying a database of limited distribution release software changes, filtering the returned data according to a screening criteria, and providing the returned data to the client. A further method receives a request from a client to develop a limited distribution release software change, develops the limited distribution release software change, adds the developed limited distribution release software change to a catalog, notifies the client, and provides an interface to the client for accessing. A system further links knowledge base entries with related limited distribution release software changes.

  • Patent number: 8751924
Abstract: Presentation of accessible content is in accordance with a grid established by rules independent of the content. Different rules establish different grids utilizable with the same content, thereby enabling proper formatting across a wide range of devices and displays. The rules provide for fixed size and auto sized column widths and row heights. Additionally, the rules provide for column widths and row heights size based on fractional weighting of the remaining space after the fixed size and auto sized grid members are accounted for. The grid establishes a coordinate system onto which content is “hung” by aligning an aspect of the content with a coordinate point. Content is hung by reference to its beginning, its end, its center point, or, alternatively, content can be specified to be stretched to fit the width of the column and the height of the row with which it is associated.

  • Publication number: 20110258575
Abstract: A mechanism for displaying large datasets may download an approximate range of the dataset along with a subset of the dataset to a client. The client may display the subset as well as indicators for the approximate range. When a user moves to a position within the dataset that is not downloaded, the client may send a request for a second subset of the dataset, which may be displayed on the client. The user may interact with the dataset to select different items in the dataset, for example, and those interactions may be collected while the user views different portions of the dataset. The user may process all of the interactions over the entire dataset or a portion of the dataset by committing the changes.
