Abstract: The invention relates to an ophthalmoscope (10) configured to acquire video of an eye. The ophthalmoscope (10) comprises a light source, an imaging apparatus (20), and a processor. The light source emits a beam of non-coherent light which in use impinges on the eye. The imaging apparatus (20) acquires plural images of at least part of the eye, each of the plural images acquired when non-coherent light from the light source impinges on the eye. The processor is configured to at least one of: control the imaging apparatus (20) such that time adjacent images are acquired with a predetermined period therebetween; and record a time of acquisition of each of a plurality of the plural images and to associate each time of acquisition with the respective image. The acquired plural images are thus related in time to one another and thereby constitute video of the eye.

Abstract: Apparatus (1) for use in a method for psychiatric evaluation comprises: memory means (4) for holding a store of pre-selected images; display means (12) for displaying a succession of said images to a patient; eye tracking means (6) for tracking eye movement of a patient; recording means (8) for recording eye movement data corresponding to a patient's eye movement in response to the display of said succession of images; control means (2) for controlling the display means to display the images to the patient, and for controlling the recording means to record said eye movement data and displayed image data; and evaluation means (10) for evaluating said eye movement data and displayed image data for use in identifying a psychiatric profile of the patient.

Abstract: A fiber drum having transversely convex sides joined together by rounded corners is provided with a locking rim assembly for releasably securing a cover across the open end thereof. The locking rim assembly is formed from a split rim having a hinge connecting opposed split ends adjacent a rim corner and a locking lever and latch assembly near the diagonally opposite corner for facilitating the application and removal of the locking rim assembly from the container. A top and bottom chime construction is provided with the metal at each corner thereof condensed together uniformly in forming the bead of each chime construction.
