  • Publication number: 20160018052
Abstract: A mountable bracket for supporting an object. The mountable bracket can be secured to various surfaces including a wall or the underside of a piece of furniture in order to provide secure and discrete storage of various objects, such as firearms. The mountable bracket includes a base plate having a planar construction that can be positioned flush against a support surface. A lower end of the mountable bracket includes a support arm pivotally connected thereto via a spring-biased hinge. In a resting configuration, a first section of the support arm extends outward from the base plate at an upward angle, and further includes a second section that is parallel to the base plate. The support arm can be pivoted between the resting configuration and an open configuration, wherein the tension provided by the spring-biased hinge secures an object between the base plate and support arm.

  • Publication number: 20120171448
Abstract: The disclosed subject matter relates to a method for forming an ordered assembly of nanoparticles in spatially defined regions. The method is based on migration of a dispersion of nanoparticles from a reservoir to a microchannel and controlled evaporation of the solvent in the dispersion to facilitate the formation of the ordered assembly in the microchannel. The disclosed subject matter also relates to an apparatus for preparing ordered assembly of nanoparticles, use of the ordered assembly of nanoparticles in the manufacture of materials and devices, and materials and devices based on or including such ordered assembly of nanoparticles.

  • Publication number: 20070121495
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided wherein a central Credit Controller Entity (CCE) is connected to a PCIE fabric environment by means of several buses. Flow Control information sent to the CCE over two of the buses indicates the buffer storage capacity that is available at respective Receiver components in the PCIE fabric. The CCE processes the Flow Control information, to generate updates that are sent by a third bus to Transmitter components corresponding to the Receivers. In one useful embodiment, directed to a method of Flow Control management, the CCE provides a repository adapted to store credit count information that represents the available storage capacity of respective Receivers. The method further comprises routing further credit count information from a given Receiver to the CCE, for storage in the repository, following each of successive events that affect the storage capacity of the given Receiver.

  • Publication number: 20070101043
Abstract: A method for communicating between a first bus and a second bus is disclosed. The method generally includes the steps of (A) recognizing a read operation code in a read frame (i) received from the first bus and (ii) communicated with a first-bus protocol, (B) initiating a read transaction on the second bus using a second-bus protocol different than the first-bus protocol, wherein the initiating occurs earlier than a turn around time in the first-bus protocol that provides a plurality of bit times to respond to the read operation code and (C) transmitting read data received from the second bus on the first bus immediately after the turn around time.

  • Patent number: 5063362
Abstract: A method and apparatus for suppression of electrical interferences. A node or point in an electronic circuit which is emitting electrical interferences is located, and a stub member designed to be a resonant transmission line at the frequency being emitted is connected to the node for suppression of the electrical interferences. If suppression is to occur between two points that are both electrically insulated from one another, a balanced line may be used. A second parallel stub tuned to the even harmonic of the fundamental frequency may be used to suppress both the even and odd harmonics of the fundamental frequency of the electrical interference. Parallel stubs may also be used to broaden the null as in a multi-pole filter. Tuning elements such as variable capacitors may be used with the stub members to tune to the exact frequency to be suppressed.
