  • Publication number: 20170334476
Abstract: A carrier mounting (3a, 3b) for supporting an infant carrier on a pushchair chassis, the mounting comprising a socket member having a first socket (17) and a second socket (19) therein, both sockets being configured to receive a correspondingly shaped mounting strut of an infant carrier. The socket member is pivotable between first and second positions such that when the carrier mounting is connected to a pushchair chassis, the first or second socket (17, 19) respectively is locatable in a receiving position in which a longitudinal axis of the respective socket bore is oriented with respect to the pushchair chassis at an angle suitable for receiving a mounting strut of an infant carrier. When the second socket (19) is in its receiving position, said second socket (19) supports the infant carrier at a higher point on the pushchair chassis than the first socket (17).

  • Patent number: 9635939
Abstract: A covered sliding operator includes a body; a slot formed in the body; a spindle extending through the slot and which is slidable along the length of the slot; and a generally oval cover rotatably mounted on the spindle. The body has a first impinging wall and a second impinging wall. The cover is shaped such that: when the spindle is central in the slot, the cover completely covers the slot; moving the spindle towards the first end of the slot moves the cover against the first impinging wall and causes it to rotate in a first direction such that the slot remains completely covered by the cover; and moving the spindle towards the second end of the slot moves the cover against the second impinging wall and causes it to rotate in a second direction such that the slot remains completely covered by the cover.

  • Publication number: 20170089335
Abstract: A pump includes a front plate, a gear plate and a rear plate. A drive shaft has a drive gear, an arbor has a driven gear engaged with the drive gear, and first and second bearings are disposed in the gear plate. The first and second bearings receive the drive shaft and the arbor. The rear plate has drain ports adjacent ends of the drive shaft and the arbor. The arbor has an opening such that media that passes between the first bearing and an outer surface of the arbor is directed to the second drain port via the opening. A drain bushing is positioned against the front plate, and includes an opening for the drive shaft. The drain bushing has a chamber and a radial port. When pumped media passes between the first bearing and the drive shaft it is directed to the chamber and out the radial port.

  • Publication number: 20170058894
Abstract: A sealing arrangement is disclosed for use in a pump. The sealing arrangement can include a first pump component having a first face surface. The first face surface can have a sealing protrusion thereon. A second pump component can have a second face surface positioned in confronting relation to the first face surface. The second pump component can define a sealing cavity for holding a fluid under pressure. The sealing protrusion is positioned to engage the second face surface when the first face surface is pressed against the second face surface so that the sealing protrusion seals against the second face surface to prevent movement of the fluid from the sealing cavity past the sealing protrusion. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
