Abstract: A video delivery platform allows an editor to create, and a user to select, from among two or more different durations of a single video. The video delivery platform can include a backend component, which is administration and content creation software running on a server or a cluster of servers (locally or remotely). Using the administration and content creation software, an editor or an algorithm prioritizes segments of the video in order to create two or more different durations of the same video. The video delivery platform can also include frontend player software which deployed across multiple device platforms for the end-user to consume the content. The user can indicate which of the two or more different durations of the same video they want to view using the frontend player.
