  • Publication number: 20210302935
Abstract: A plurality of system control devices respectively include network interfaces for communicating with each other via a network. One of the plurality of system control devices functions as a master system control device, and the remaining system control devices function as slave system control devices. The master system control device transmits a control command to the slave system control devices by means of the network interface. The slave system control devices receive the control command by means of the network interfaces and supply an operation command to abatement devices in accordance with the control command. When unable to communicate with the master system control device, the slave system control devices either function as master system control devices or enter stand-alone operation mode.

  • Publication number: 20190113046
Abstract: A centrifugal compressor wheel assembly that can be employed in devices such as turbochargers or as a component for mechanisms requiring a compressor wheel assembly that includes a tubular insert with a compressor wheel member connected thereto which engages a shaft and a turbocharger including the compressor wheel assembly. The tubular insert has a wall member defining a shaft bore that extends from an inlet end to an opposed outlet end. The wall member has an outer circumferential surface and an opposed inner circumferential surface. At least one engagement member may be defined on the inner circumferential surface. An engagement member may be defined on the outer circumferential surface. The tubular insert can be composed of a suitable metal.

  • Publication number: 20060137363
Abstract: A cryostat assembly comprises a liquid coolant containing vessel; a mechanical cooler having at least one cooling stage located above the vessel; and a channel for conveying gaseous coolant from the vessel to the cooling stage where the coolant is condensed in use and then returns through the channel to the vessel. An acoustic wave attenuator is located in the channel for attenuating the passage of acoustic energy originating from the mechanical cooler and propagating through the gaseous coolant, while permitting flow of gaseous coolant to the cooling stage and flow of condensed coolant to the vessel.
