  • Patent number: 12050160
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting leaks in flexible packets with a test bed, a pressure chamber to apply a first pressure and a second pressure to the packet, producing a first volume and second volume for the packet. An illumination source and an illumination detector to produce a first image dataset of the packet at the first pressure and a second image dataset of the packet at the second pressure, a processor connected to the illumination detector to receive the first and second image datasets and determine the first volume and the second volume and use the first volume and the second volume to determine a change in volume, compare the change of volume with a threshold and when the change of volume is greater than the threshold determine the packet is leak-free and when the change of volume is less than the threshold determines the packet has a leak.

  • Publication number: 20160227753
Abstract: Hollow body insect traps with a continuous sidewall and a detachable base defining a truncated pyramid or a truncated cone shape, wherein the apex of the truncated cone or pyramid has a top surface defining an inlet communicating the interior of the hollow body with the exterior environment. Package systems, accessory packages, insect trapping kits and methods for monitoring insects are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070219895
Abstract: Data are received that represents current prices of options on a given asset. An estimate is derived from the data of a corresponding implied probability distribution of the price of the asset at a future time. Information about the probability distribution is made available within a time frame that is useful to investors, for example, promptly after the current option price information becomes available.
