  • Publication number: 20250232972
Abstract: A method of performing automatic ion control for mass spectrometry includes acquiring, by charge detection mass spectrometry, a mass spectrum comprising a plurality of peaks representing intensity as a function of mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) of a population of ions analyzed by a mass analyzer during an acquisition event. Based on the mass spectrum, a measured signal density of a selected m/z range of the mass spectrum is determined. An ion population control parameter for a subsequent acquisition event is set based on the measured signal density and a target signal density. The ion population control parameter regulates a population of ions analyzed by the mass analyzer during the subsequent acquisition event.

  • Patent number: 12355770
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing access to network resources. A first mesh agent may be configured to provide a client with access to a resource via an overlay network. The first mesh agent may determine an identity and an activity associated with requests such that the identity corresponds to an entity that may be authenticated to access the overlay network and the resource. A policy container associated with the activity may be determined based on characteristics of the requests such that the policy container may include policies associated with the activity. The requests may be validated based on the policies included in the policy container such that the validated requests may be forwarded to the resource and invalidated requests may be discarded and such that persistence of the connection may be maintained during the validation.

  • Publication number: 20250206538
Abstract: A method of constructing a storage well for an energy production system comprising determining a fractured volume of the storage well with a curved wellbore by inputting the curved wellbore path, a set of formation properties, and a fracturing operation, into a fracturing model. The curved wellbore path can promote fracture interference between fracture stresses extending from the storage wellbore path. The energy production system can inject a volume of compressed gas into the fractured volume via the storage wellbore or produce a volume of gas from the fractured volume. A design process can iterate the curved wellbore path of the storage well to create a fractured volume of the storage well greater than a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20250180008
Abstract: When conducting borehole operations, such as drilling, injection, or hydraulic fracturing, using a variable torque converter to reduce the torque force output of a constant speed engine or motor would enable a more efficient use of resources and lower costs due to less wear and tear on equipment. The fluid pump system at the borehole can utilize the variable torque converter, receiving operating commands from a control system, to reduce the torque delivered to the fluid pump to maintain operational parameters, such as a rate of change of load on the engine or motor, a maximum fluid pressure measured at the pump or downhole, or other operational parameters. The variable torque converter can be part of a transmission system, or be located before or after the transmission system. The variable torque converter can utilize torque oil or a magnetic system to control the torque force being delivered.
