  • Publication number: 20030114074
Abstract: A stuffed animal toy for children that emulates the awakening of the stuffed animal upon the user touching one of various locations upon the body of the stuffed animal thereby activating an appropriate pre-recorded audio message. The stuffed animal also includes a second head portion such as a Santa Claus-like head portion mounted within a recess behind the original teddy bear head portion that can be easily converted manually by a child from a first position representing the original teddy bear configuration, to a second position, representing a second configuration such as a Santa Claus head configuration for holiday seasons. Upon the manual exchange of the head portions of the stuffed animal, a switch is activated which enables a pre-recorded audio message to play through a speaker located within the stuffed animal. The audio message played corresponds to the head portion which appears on the stuffed animal after the exchange.

  • Patent number: 6539844
Abstract: A pan for cooking pancakes or omelets that allows for cooking and removal of the finished, cooked food product without the need for a hand-held spatula. The cooking pan includes a first concave cooking container that is joined by a hinge to a flat cooking body having parallel handles that allow the device to be rotated 180 degrees during the cooking process. The final cooked food product can slide by gravity from the flat cooking body without a spatula.

  • Patent number: 6416377
Abstract: The invention comprises a bubble-blowing device having a reservoir of soapy-like fluid, a rotor with apertures rotating downwardly in a trigger controllable manner into said fluid and then advanced upwardly to a discharge position. There is also provided a special purpose electric fan or blower, the operation of which is synchronized with rotation of the apertured rotor for the directing of a variable velocity flow of air to fluid-filled apertures of the rotor within the device's discharge area. Actuation by the trigger concurrently actuates the rotor, the special purpose blower, and a multi-colored lens assembly circumferentially surrounding a light source such that a different color of the lens assembly is rotated in front of the light source in synchronization with each rotational advance of the apertured rotor caused by trigger actuation.

  • Patent number: 6220916
Abstract: A toy band which comprises a bistable spring that can be dynamically deployed from an elongated rigid position to a coiled position around one's wrist, forearm, other part of the body, or any suitably-shaped object through striking the band against that part of the body or object and that also broadcasts a pre-recorded audio message when the band is deployed. The toy band includes an audio broadcast unit removably affixed the bistable spring and includes a housing, a speaker, a battery, an electrical impact switch, and a read-only memory or other memory chip that can store a pre-recorded audio message which is broadcast upon closure of the impact switch. The audio broadcast can be actuated, while affixed to the bistable spring by the striking of the device against any suitably-shaped object, or independently of the spring, by simply removing the unit from the spring and applying pressure to the unit thereby activating the audio messages stored therein.

  • Patent number: 6066026
Abstract: A remote control movable ball amusement device includes a plurality of shell parts so as to result in a non-spherical ball. Preferably each shell part is driven independently of the other. An antenna is provided which extends externally of the shell parts to increase the range of operability of the device.

  • Patent number: 5399136
Abstract: A toy and exercising device that utilizes a rounded body, such as a sphere, a pair of cord segments through said sphere on each side, and a pair of handles attached to the ends of the cord segments. The cord segments are spaced to allow twisting of the cord upon itself on each side of the device to cause the sphere to be rotated in a forward and reverse direction by pulling against the twisted cord with the handles. The exercising device can be adjusted to require variable force to successfully rotate the sphere in both directions by providing for variable spacing of the apertures that receive the cord on each side of the sphere. The device may also include a variable illuminating device inside the sphere that will illuminate above a certain predetermined rotational velocity. The device can also include variable audible sounds generated by surface elements disposed in or on the surface of the sphere.

  • Patent number: 4423565
Abstract: A bubble blowing device generally in the form of a gun has a chamber for soapy-like fluid, a rotor with apertures which rotate one-by-one downward into the fluid and then upward to a discharge position, an electric blower with a nozzle for directing a flow of air to the fluid-filled aperture in the gun's discharge area, and drive means actuated by a trigger for rotating said rotor and energizing the blower to produce a stream of bubbles.
