  • Patent number: 11875382
Abstract: A system and method are presented for customizing a software application for a target market. A request to access an application is received, by one or more computer servers, from a user. At least one of a preferred language of the user and a location of the user are determined by the one or more computer servers, and a target market is determined using the at least one of the preferred language of the user and the location of the user. The target market defines a language and a region. • Publication number: 20230419600
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to techniques for volumetric performance capture with neural rendering. A technique may involve initially obtaining images that depict a subject from multiple viewpoints and under various lighting conditions using a light stage and depth data corresponding to the subject using infrared cameras. A neural network may extract features of the subject from the images based on the depth data and map the features into a texture space (e.g., the UV texture space). A neural renderer can be used to generate an output image depicting the subject from a target view such that illumination of the subject in the output image aligns with the target view. The neural render may resample the features of the subject from the texture space to an image space to generate the output image.

  • Publication number: 20220001072
Abstract: An air treatment system comprises an air conditioner; a bipolar ionization assembly; and a power supply. The air conditioner may portable and include a wheeled housing; an evaporator or entry grill for ambient air; a condenser grill for hot air discharge; a cold air supply discharge grate; a motor; an evaporator coil; and an evaporator blower intake. The bipolar ionization assembly includes electrical leads, and is mounted by a bracket to the evaporator blower intake to position the electrical leads within the air stream of the evaporator blower intake. The power supply is operably connected to the portable air conditioner and to the bipolar ionization assembly. When mounted in the air conditioner, the bipolar ionization assembly creates an antimicrobial plasma capable of killing harmful pathogens including bacteria, mycoplasma, viruses, mold and odors, and reducing the presence of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's), particulates, and static electricity in the air.

  • Publication number: 20070282266
Abstract: An endoscopy cannula system for accessing an internal operative site. The cannula access system includes a cannula having a tapered body and defining at least two access lumens extending therethrough. The two access lumens provide multiple access to the internal operative site from a single access location. The cannula further includes a fixation feature capable of securing the cannula relative to an access wound and to potentially providing retraction of overlying tissues proximal to the surgical site. The system also includes an obturator associated with each lumen. The obturators include a tapered distal tip which extends from the distal end of the cannula in an installed position. The tapered distal tips of the obturators provide the cannula with a generally continuously tapered profile to facilitate insertion through an access wound.

  • Patent number: 6117341
Abstract: A filter has a first filter layer made of TiO.sub.2 of Ti.sub.4 O.sub.7 particles deposited on a second filter layer by stainless steel particles. The first layer has a smaller pore size than the second layer. The construction of the filter, the relative thicknesses of the layers and the resistances thereof to movement therethrough of electrolytically generated gas located between the two layers when the filter is permeated with liquid are such that the gas reaches the upstream side of the filter before the downstream side. In one embodiment stainless steel particles are sintered and rolled with a textured roller before ceramic particles are applied and rolled. An intermediate layer of metal particle peaks and ceramic filled troughs is thus provided which has high tortuosity. The resistance to flow at the metal/ceramic interface can be increased by electrodeposition of metal there.
