  • Publication number: 20230397872
Abstract: A system for removing device signals from surface electrical signals received from an ambulatory patient worn device is provided. The system includes a wearable cardiac monitoring device configured to be continuously worn by a patient. The wearable cardiac monitoring device includes signal generation circuitry to provide a device-generated signal having a predetermined frequency; a skin-contacting surface to inject the device-generated signal into a skin of the patient; an electrode to acquire the surface electrical signal from the skin of the patient; and processing circuitry. The surface electrical signal includes a device-generated signal and a physiological signal generated by the patient.

  • Publication number: 20190053945
Abstract: A method of delivering safe, suitable, and repeatable dosages to a subject for topical, oral, nasal, or pulmonary use and a device for droplet ejection includes a fluid delivery system capable of delivering a defined volume of the fluid in the form of droplets having properties that afford adequate and repeatable high percentage deposition upon application. The method and device include a housing, a reservoir disposed within the housing for receiving a volume of fluid, an ejector mechanism configured to eject a stream of droplets having an average ejected droplet diameter greater than 15 microns, the stream of droplets having low entrained airflow such that the stream of droplets deposit on the eye of the subject during use.

  • Patent number: 10181321
Abstract: A portable terminal has a network interface that receives a set of instructions having a sequence of at least one location and audio properties associated with the at least one location from a server. An audio circuit receives audio signals picked up by a microphone and processes the audio signals in a manner defined by the audio properties associated with the at least one location. A speech recognition module receives processed signals from the audio circuit and carries out a speech recognition process thereupon.

  • Patent number: 9618993
Abstract: A method and system of managing power usage of devices including selectively executing a program application on a plurality of battery powered devices. Battery usage data is generated for a battery in one or more of the devices during execution of the work application. The battery usage data includes the run-time of the battery for the work application being executed. The data is aggregated and stored for the plurality of devices in memory. An application specific battery profile is generated using the stored battery usage data. The application specific battery profile is associated with the work application being run by the client devices.
