  • Publication number: 20180121648
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to detecting object creation when instrumenting an application for security purposes. The examples enable determining, by an instrumenter implemented by a physical processor that implements machine readable instructions, whether to instrument a function; responsive to determining that the function should be instrumented, determining, by the instrumenter, that a base class constructor is to be called by the function; before the base class constructor is called, pushing, by the instrumenter, object related information onto a local storage registry; analyzing, by the instrumenter, the local storage registry to determine whether an object associated with the function was created based on information in the local storage registry; and responsive to determining that the object was created, applying, by the instrumenter, a security rule to the function.

  • Publication number: 20180015402
Abstract: The current technology relates to a filter element having pleated filter media. The pleated filter media defines an elongate tubular structure having an inner passageway. The pleated filter media has outer pleat folds and inner pleat folds each extending from a first end to a second end of the elongate tubular structure. The filter element has no more than one elongate brace disposed in the inner passageway, extending between the first end and the second end. A plurality of support ribs are coupled to the elongate brace, where each support rib has a connector defining an interference-fit with the elongate brace. Each support rib partially defines the inner passageway and has an outer support surface that abuts a substantial portion of the inner pleat folds.

  • Publication number: 20170046497
Abstract: One or more simulations are generated for in-home monitoring. The simulations model sensory detection of a user's physical activities using a different number and/or a different combination of sensors. Each different simulation may thus be associated with an accuracy and a cost, depending on the number and/or combination of sensors. The simulations thus present a range of sensory configurations that balance accuracy and affordability, from which an optimum sensory solution may be determined for the in-home monitoring.

  • Publication number: 20160352010
Abstract: A phased array antenna system with electrical tilt control incorporates a tilt controller (62) for splitting an input signal into three intermediate signals, two of which are delayed by variable delays T1 and T2 relative to the third. A corporate feed (64) contains splitters S3 to S10 and hybrids H1 to H6 for processing the intermediate signals to produce drive signals for elements of an antenna array (66); the drive signals are fractions and vector combinations of the intermediate signals. The tilt controller (62) and the corporate feed (64) in combination impose relative phasing on the drive signals as appropriate for phased array beam steering in response to variable delay of two intermediate signals relative to the third intermediate signal.
