Abstract: A method of inhibiting soil redeposition on fabric stained by one or more quaternary compounds by providing a sulfonated material in an effective amount to a wash liquor. The sulfonated material includes water-soluble sulfonated polymers. Generally, the sulfonated material is incorporated with a laundry detergent to provide a use level of about 30 ppm to about 300 ppm in the wash liquor.

Abstract: A cleaning composition includes ingredients useful for formulating laundry and cleaning compositions selected from the group consisting of cationic or nonionic fabric softening agents, detersive surfactants, builders, bleaching compounds, polymeric soil release agents, dye transfer inhibiting agents, polymeric dispersing agents, suds suppressors, optical brighteners, chelating agents, fabric softening clays, anti-static agents, and mixtures thereof; an enzyme; a perfume; and an effective amount of a stabilizer to provide an enhanced perfume effect. The stabilizer is selected from the group of antioxidants, reducing agents, and mixtures thereof.

Abstract: The present invention provides an aqueous liquid bleach composition which remains stable over an extended period of time. The liquid bleach is easily pourable since it has a relatively low viscosity. The liquid bleach generally comprises (a) from about 1% to about 25% by weight of a water-soluble bleach activator; (b) from about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of hydrogen peroxide; (c) from about 1% to about 20% by weight of a phase stabilizer; (d) from about 0.001% to about 2% by weight of a chelating agent; and (e) the balance water. The liquid bleach composition is isotropic, translucent and has a viscosity of less than about 500 cps.

Abstract: An aqueous cleaning and bleaching composition with a pH of from about 0.5 to about 6, which contains amidoperoxyacid, hydrogen peroxide, and acylated citrate ester which has been emulsified in two or more ethoxylated alcohols is described.

Abstract: Fabric cleaning/conditioning compositions of improved stability are disclosed for use through-the-wash in conjunction with machine dryers. This is accomplished by incorporating a low level of polyethylene glycol into small, discrete amine salt nodules. These nodules pass virtually unchanged through the wash and rinse; become entangled in the fabrics when spun or wrung out; and then melt, spread, and condition the fabrics when heated in a dryer.
