  • Publication number: 20240098110
Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing cybersecurity risk of a computer network include the use of a risk model application that is configured to determine an initial cyber risk score value based upon an underwriting process. A cyber risk data stream is sent from the client's computer network to the system processor to periodically calculate an updated cyber risk score based upon actual data. The system processor is adapted to use the data stream to generate client information that is accessible by the client via a web-based client portal. In embodiments, the cyber risk data stream can be actively monitored to identify a threat of a cybersecurity breach.

  • Patent number: 11285894
Abstract: A structural module assembly with conductive reinforcements overmolded within the plastic and/or composite subassembly as a main power bus and a communication bus for electrical components assembled onto the module. Control signals are either transmitted between a main microcontroller and another microcontroller by way of the communication bus or wirelessly. The microcontrollers determine which electrical components to activate, and power is provided to the electrical components by way of the main power bus.

  • Patent number: 11124051
Abstract: A carrier module for a motor vehicle door assembly having inner and outer panels defining a door panel structure with the inner panel having an opening for selective access to an internal door cavity between the inner and outer panels is provided. The carrier including an outer periphery configured for attachment to the inner panel to substantially close off the opening, and at least one reinforcement member fixed to the carrier, the at least one reinforcement member being formed of a material having a resistance to loading that is greater than a resistance to loading of a material of the carrier.

  • Patent number: 10814565
Abstract: A modified compression moulding arrangement where the compression moulding tool has been modified to allow for the use of pre-impregnated pre-form sheets in order to produce class A automotive structural parts in high volume. The pre-impregnated pre-form has continuous un-chopped fibers that extend across an entire length of the pre-impregnated pre-form. The pre-impregnated pre-form is then placed in an open compression moulding tool that has a bottom half and a top half that are movable between an open position and a closed position. When the mould tool is in the closed position, the top half and bottom half create a forming cavity that is defined by a forming surface of the top half and a forming surface of the bottom half. The forming surface of the bottom half has a boundary defined by a run-off edge and an upshear that is necessary for forming a class A structural automotive component using pre-impregnated pre-form material.

  • Publication number: 20190329466
Abstract: Reinforced composite structural members and methods of forming thereof. The method includes providing one or more reinforcements, one or more adhesives, a mold with a mold cavity and resin. The one or more reinforcements are coated with the one or more adhesives and then are placed within the mold cavity. Next the mold cavity is closed and a step of overmolding the one or more reinforcements by injecting molten resin into the mold cavity, then curing the molten resin to form the structural member. The one or more adhesives coated onto the one or more reinforcements facilitates the bonding of the resin of material to the one or more reinforcements.
