  • Patent number: 9086248
Abstract: A monocore for a sound suppressor that significantly enhances the trapping and delay of the gases exiting from the sound suppressor due to the design, location, and configuration of slanted baffles and angled half-baffles, and a plurality of rods. The slanted baffles help define the blast chamber, expansion chambers, and exit chamber of the monocore. The plurality of rods may be positioned in the blast chamber or the expansions chambers. The plurality of rods may vary in length. The plurality of rods may also replace the angled half-baffles.

  • Patent number: 8997621
Abstract: A quick mount adapter for a firearm that includes a cylindrical adapter base having a first portion, a second portion, and a central bore. The central bore includes a first bore having a smaller diameter and a second bore having a larger diameter. A portion of the second bore is threaded and an exterior portion of the housing includes threads. The quick mount adapter includes a biasing mechanism and a washer being positioned within the second bore of the adapter base. A collar having a central bore and an internal locking profile in the central bore is threaded into the adapter base to retain the washer and biasing mechanism within the second bore. The quick mount adapter includes a spacer comprising a hollow cylindrical housing having a top surface, a central opening in the top surface, and a plurality of annular openings positioned around the central opening.

  • Patent number: 7677150
Abstract: A system for connecting an accessory to a firearm having an enlarged muzzle portion has a body with a bore sized to closely receive the enlarged portion. The body has a stop to limit the insertion depth of the muzzle. A gate is received by the body for movement along the path perpendicular to the bore axis. The gate has a recessed area sized to receive the enlarged muzzle portion. A spring generates axial force to retain the muzzle portion within the recessed area. Compression of the spring enables movement of the gate to shift between an open and closed position, so that the accessory may be removed or installed when in the open position, and secured when in the closed position.
