  • Publication number: 20190080103
Abstract: A method for controlling authorization decisions for resource access is provided. The method includes generating a request signal that includes resource identification information, transmitting the request signal for resource access to an authorization system, receiving the request signal at the authorization system, and generating an authorization request signal based on the request signal. The authorization request signal requires a single Boolean data type response in the form of either a grant access reply and a deny access reply.

  • Patent number: 10187300
Abstract: A fallback mobile proxy system includes a gateway device having a local communication interface that establishes communication between a router and one or more smart home devices over a local communication network and one or more secondary local communication networks. The gateway device includes a processor that is configured to perform detecting a loss or degradation of connectivity between the router and a remote communication network. A mobile device is identified in communication with the router over the local communication network, where the mobile device has an alternate connectivity interface to the remote communication network. The mobile device is established as a fallback mobile proxy based on identifying the mobile device. Data is routed from/to the one or more smart home devices targeting the remote communication network to pass from/to the gateway device through the router and the fallback mobile proxy from/to the remote communication network.

  • Patent number: 4897345
Abstract: This invention provides an immunologic method for measuring plant pollen germination and pollen tube growth. This method is based on the finding that an antibody having specificity to .beta.-L-arabinofuranosyl residues binds to the surface of in vitro grown pollen tubes. Antibody binding can be measured qualitatively or quantitatively using a calibration curve. The immunoassay is useful for screening plants for response to substances that affect plant germination or pollen tube growth.
