  • Patent number: 11215498
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a weighing assembly (100) for a luggage case (101). The weighing assembly (100) includes at least one support (107) in contact with a surface that supports a portion of a weight of the luggage case (101). A floating element (108) is coupled to the support (107). A deflection member (110) is coupled to the floating element (108), and the portion of the weight of the luggage case (101) causes an elastic deflection of the deflection member (110). A load cell member (112) disposed adjacent to and separate from the deflection member (110). The load cell member (112) is separate from the deflection member (110) the elastic deflection of the deflection member (110) causes a deflection of the load cell member (112), the load cell member (112) senses the amount of deflection, which correlates to the portion of the weight of the luggage (101).

  • Patent number: 10617186
Abstract: The luggage article described herein provides improved stability by creating an increased footprint at the bottom to improve stability. The footprint is increase by position the supports for the luggage article outside the perimeter of the body. The supports may be a plurality of wheel spinner assemblies. The wheel spinner assemblies may have an upright axis of rotation that is positioned outside of the perimeter of the body thereby improving stability.

  • Publication number: 20180289183
Abstract: An articulating neck pillow (100) is provided. The neck pillow (100) may include a pillow portion (102) adapted, in use, to fit at least partially around a user's neck and an articulating frame (104) coupled to the pillow portion (102). The frame (104) may be coupled to the pillow portion (102) such that movement of the frame (104) causes corresponding movement of the pillow portion (102). The frame (104) may include a pair of frame arms (144) pivotably connected together by a hinge (142) to articulate towards and away from each other. A rear end portion (154) of each frame arm (144) may project more rearwardly than the hinge (142) such that when the rear end portions (154) of each frame arm (144) are pressed against a surface (106), the frame arms (144) pivot thereby together towards each other and more closely around and toward the user's neck.
