  • Patent number: 10646989
Abstract: A tool part compartment. The tool part compartment may include a plurality of tool part compartments disposed within a container. Each tool part compartment may store a different type of tool part. Each tool part compartment may include a cell cup made of a sidewall. The sidewall has a top rim forming an opening into the cell cup. A plate is secured to the sidewall within the cell cup. The plate includes a plurality of tool slots. A lid covers the opening of the cell cup. The plate is at a distance from the lid so that a tool part disposed within one of the tool slots abuts the lid and is thereby secured in place within the cell cup.

  • Publication number: 20100141243
Abstract: The position-monitoring system consists of cooperating arrays in the form of an assembly of switch/resistance element units, serving as a sensor component, and an assembly of magnet units, serving as an actuator component, each switch unit including a switching device that is magnetically operated for connecting or disconnecting an associated resistance element to or from a common circuit through the switch stack. The resultant change of resistance in the common circuit is detected and utilized for determining the position of a movable member, to which one of the stacks is operatively attached, relative to another member to which the other stack is attached.

  • Patent number: 6065480
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for securing and controlling dental floss while in the process of flossing one's teeth. The apparatus comprises a set of prostheses, one for each hand, to reside on a particular digit. Each finger prosthesis has a mechanical attachment point for dental floss. A section of dental floss has each end terminated on the mechanical attachment point. Each finger prosthesis is secured to the user by a mechanical device. The finger prosthesis comprises an adjustable member which extends the floss attachment point beyond the user's finger and or finger nail. The finger prosthesis distributes the mechanical loads encountered during flossing in a comfortable and painless manner over the user's extremities, thus promoting a positive experience and encouraging frequent flossing of one's teeth, all of which leads to better dental and overall health.
