  • Patent number: 3989150
Abstract: An attachment for construction or excavation equipment of the type having means to raise and lower the attachment and to position the attachment at a predetermined and preselected site. The attachment comprises a mounting plate with connectors for connecting the mounting plate to the construction equipment. A turntable depends from the mounting plate and is rotatably connected thereto. A first hydrualic actuator is connected intermediate the mounting plate and the turntable for effecting angular displacement or rotation of the turntable with respect to the mounting plate. A beam is pivotably connected to and depends from the turntable and a second hydraulic actuator interconnects the beam to the turntable for effecting predetermined movement of the beam.

  • Patent number: 3986960
Abstract: A fluid filter comprises a tubular canister having a contaminated fluid inlet and a filtered fluid outlet. A one piece, replaceable, multiple inlet element is inserted into the canister, the element including a tube having a plurality of axially spaced apart containers mounted serially therealong, each of the containers having a closed bottom connected to the tube and an open top. A filter element is supplied in each of the containers and foraminous means space the filter element from the bottom of the containers to form a chamber therebetween. Ports in the tube communicate with the chamber and a seal is effected between the outlet of the canister and the tube, while fluid communication is provided between the inlet and the open tops of the containers whereby fluid flow between the inlet and the outlet takes place through the filter elements. The purpose of this abstract is to enable the public and the patent office to determine rapidly the subject matter of the technical disclosure of the application.

  • Patent number: 3958704
Abstract: A pipe carrying and laying attachment for heavy construction equipment such as backhoes, excavation shovels and the like comprises a support frame which includes a plurality of radially extending arms projecting therefrom, the terminal ends of the arms carrying support shoes. The frame is adapted for fitting interiorly of large diameter, heavy pipe such as concrete pipe having a diameter of from ten to twelve feet. At least one of the radially extending arms includes an actuator for adjusting the radial position of the associated support shoe on the arm thereby providing radial pressure on the interior of the pipe for gripping of same. The purpose of this abstract is to enable the Public and the Patent Office to determine rapidly the subject matter of the technical disclosure of the application. This abstract is not intended to define the invention of the application nor is it intended to be limiting as to the scope thereof.
