  • Publication number: 20240313317
Abstract: Please substitute the new Abstract submitted herewith for the original Abstract: A compressive stressing device for a frame arrangement and a battery having the frame arrangement. The compressive stressing device has a fastening part, a bracing part and a bracing joint mechanism. The compressive stressing device can be fastened to a tensile stressing device of the frame arrangement by way of the fastening part. The bracing part is designed to come to lie against the battery cell assembly. The fastening part and the bracing part are connected to one another by way of the bracing joint mechanism, the bracing joint mechanism being designed such that, when the bracing part is subjected to a bracing force acting in the direction of the fastening part, the bracing part is moved in a bracing direction towards the fastening part by the bracing joint mechanism yielding in a defined manner.

  • Patent number: 11806813
Abstract: An accumulator assembly includes first and second accumulator cells, each of which includes at least one electrical connection element. The accumulator assembly also includes a cell connector element which electrically connects the electrical connection element of the first accumulator cell with the electrical connection element of the second accumulator cell. The cell connector element is welded at least onto one of the electrical connection elements via a plurality of welding locations. The number and the location of the welding locations are selected according to an expected current density in such a way that more welding locations are arranged at locations with a higher expected current density, and zero or fewer welding locations are arranged at locations with a lower expected current density.

  • Publication number: 20230318058
Abstract: A cell module for an electrical energy storage device of a motor vehicle includes at least one cell structure made up of energy storage cells, a metallic cell module frame, enclosing the at least one cell structure, for clamping the energy storage cells, and a measuring device for detecting a deformation of the cell module frame related to cell expansion. The measuring device includes a passive resistive extension sensor having a deformation-dependent electrical resistance and a measuring unit connected to the extension sensor to output an electrical measurement signal characterizing the deformation-dependent electrical resistance of the extension sensor. The extension sensor is formed by the metallic cell module frame, with which the measuring unit is electrically contacted.

  • Patent number: 10727461
Abstract: A cell module for a battery of a motor vehicle has a plurality of battery cells for storing electrical energy and a module frame which includes at least two pressure elements, between which the battery cells are arranged, and at least one tension rod which is loaded in tension. The tension rod is formed from a material and by which the pressure elements are clamped against each other via the battery cells. As a result, the battery cells are compressed, wherein the pressure plates are clamped against each other by the tension rod in such a manner that a yield strength or the 0.2% yield limit of the material of the tension rod is reached.

  • Patent number: 10673053
Abstract: A connector system for a battery module has a number of cell connectors of different successive cell connector types in order to form one or more electric contacts with one or more connections of one or more individual cells of the battery module, in particular for a power-transmitting tap in which each cell connector of a subsequent cell connector type is designed to electrically connect a larger number of connections of individual cells than the number of connections which can be connected by each cell connector of a preceding cell connector type. Each cell connector of a preceding cell connector type can be stacked and/or nested on a cell connector of a subsequent cell connector type in an assembly direction perpendicular to the main direction of extension.
